Abstinence means to refrain from or avoid any sexual activity, including sexual intercourse. On television or in the movies, you do not hear or see people say “no” to sex very often. Women and men are not usually shown having discussions on sexually transmitted disease (STDs) or facing an unplanned pregnancy. While in fact, both of these can happen. |
|
A more healthy and happy way to live is to say “no” to sex until you are married to someone who loves you and will be a partner in parenthood. The fact is, in today’s world, sex can be very dangerous. The rate of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) becomes higher every year.
