An unplanned pregnancy can be a lonely, difficult, and confusing time. We know you have choices to make. We have professional staff who will provide you with education and support on the options of parenting and adoption. Our goal is for you to receive the information you need in order to make the plan that you believe is best for your child and for you.

The Nebraska Children’s Home Society, Positive Alternatives Project believes that every woman and man who experiences an unplanned pregnancy deserves the opportunity to learn about adoption. Adoption is very different today that it was ten, twenty, or thirty years ago. We will provide you with accurate information on adoption, so that you can make the plan that is best for your child and for you. Our services are confidential and without any obligations. We support your right to choose.

Adoption services offered:

· Education on parenting and adoption

· Developing an adoption plan, including the opportunity to choose, meet with, and develop a relationship with the adoptive family

· Education about your legal rights and responsibilities

· Birth parent support groups

· Opportunities to meet and talk with women and men who have placed their child for adoption or who are considering placing their child for adoption

· Connections to resources in your community
